Here is a superbly preserved Gompothere cap , found in a river in the low country of South Carolina. Awesome jet black enamel with no wear, must be an un irrupted tooth. Extremely rare in this condition. Size of specimen is 5.13" long by 3.10" wide and about 3.75" high. Ref.- MAM0016

This is almost a one of a kind find!!  A complete baby Mastodon tooth that is fully rooted!! Beautiful enamel cap with a minimum of feeing wear to the surface. A little beautiful baby Mastodon tooth. Tooth has been worn from feeding. Specimen is 1.02" long by 1.05" wide and 1.15" high. Tooth has a nice two tone color to it. Usually are darker from that dark water that flows through those northern Florida rivers.  My info says it was found in the Suwanee river but it does not have the orange or red color that the river is known for.

Here is a Suwanee River juvenile Mastodon tooth. Found in Northern Florida. Specimen shows the color that this river is known for. Color of the enamel is orange/yellow/red. This is a nice Mastodon tooth found on the Brazos River in Colorado County, Texas. The tooth was found in a gravel bar at the river's edge and dates from 10,000 to 125,000 years old.  It measures 6" long by 3 1/2" wide by about 5" in height. Specimen is just about complete with only partial root missing.
